David McGruer CFP® Financial Advisor, Investia Financial Services Inc.
He makes the complex world of investment, taxation, insurance and other aspects of planning easier to understand and helps clients stick to the principles which actually work. Besides advice, he can provide both investment (Investia Financial Services Inc.) and insurance products and has been a financial advisor since 1993.
David taught at Concordia and McGill universities for two years and in an arctic school for four years before becoming a financial advisor.
David served on the board of the Ottawa Chapter of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) for over twenty years and is a Past-President of the Chapter.
